On September 21, 2023, the Nueva Valencia Tourism Heritage, Culture, and Arts Council conducted a Familiarization Tour, exploring the Community-Based Rural Tourism Areas in Guimaras. The council members were able to visit the following places:

• Tultul in Hoskyn, Jordan
• Mc Nester Food Products
• Rizal Galleon Yacht Making Association
• Fatima Farm
• Jem Home Farm
• BPI-Guimaras National Crop Research Development Production Support Center: 

The council members had a great time exploring the different places and learning about the culture and history of Guimaras. They also enjoyed the delicious food and the beautiful scenery. They were all impressed by the rich offerings that Guimaras has to offer and they are looking forward to coming back soon.
