A Basic Photography Workshop was successfully conducted on October 22, 2024, at the Function Hall, Multi-Purpose Building, Nueva Valencia spearheaded by the Municipal Tourism Office. The workshop was attended by OIC Mayor/SB Member, Hon. Jason E. Javier, along with SB Members Hon. Rofel G. Geonanga and Hon. Marilou S. Delumpa.

A total of 44 participants, representing various offices of the Local Government Unit (LGU), other agencies, and tourism stakeholders, took part in the activity. The workshop aimed to equip attendees with fundamental photography skills, enhancing their ability to document and promote local tourism efforts.

Three resource persons shared their expertise during the workshop: Mr. Steve Francis Quiatchon covered the basics of photography, followed by Mr. Ian John Pamplona, who focused on mobile photography techniques. The workshop concluded in a hands-on activity where Mr. KC John Persia assisted participants in applying the techniques they learned.
The participants are expected to apply their new skills in creating activity reports, improving visual storytelling for better documentation and showcasing of local events and tourism initiatives. This workshop marks another successful initiative by the LGU to promote skill development among its employees and tourism partners, further enhancing tourism services in Nueva Valencia.
